I am so happy to report that I was finally able to turn in the letter from my doctor this morning. YAY! That was the last thing that was holding us back from beginning the home study. Our agency rep just needs to forward it to the Country Coordinator now, and she said that we should be able to move forward in a few DAYS! I can't wait to schedule our first home study visit! Hopefully I'll be able to update very soon with our first meeting date! :)
As I mentioned before, I am in a forum for families that are adopting from Ethiopia through our same agency. I was so happy to read this morning that a family just received their travel call! They will be leaving for Ethiopia to pick up their child on May 26th! Wow! Talk about get up an go! I hope they had been packing in advance! There should be some more travel calls soon. And I would like to ask you all to pray for my friend Kelly. Her court date is tomorrow (May 19)! Kelly has been waiting a long time to go get her son from Ethiopia. Please pray that her court date goes smoothly and that it passes on Tuesday. This will mean that she can legally adopt her son, and will be able to travel very soon! GOOD LUCK KELLY! :)
