Brandon and I have already had the privilege of meeting the first family in the video, who recently adopted two older siblings from Ethiopia. Also in this video are Milkiyas (the director of the program in Ethiopia), and Nesibu and Birtikan (two people in Ethiopia who work at one of the orphanages and offer housing to the adoptive families while they are in the country).
It was so exciting for me to see this video, and have faces to put with some of the names I've been hearing so much about. I hope this will give you some insight into what our family will be working towards over the next year or so. Enjoy!
On another note, Brandon and I will be meeting with our social worker for the first time tonight. It is the first meeting for our home study. I'll update again later! :)
