The Best Money Saving Blogs

Recently, I've had several requests to share the money saving blogs that I frequent. Thank you to all of you who have been waiting so patiently for me to post this. Here they are.....

For all of my friends here in West Michigan, the best one for us is West Michigan Mommy. It's the best place to find local deals, but she also posts nationwide deals. At the beginning of every week, she will post coupon match ups for the sale items at local stores. This is where you'll want to look before you head to the grocery store. If you're not already saving the weekly coupon inserts, START NOW! West Michigan Mommy will tell you which insert contains the coupons you need, and also link you to internet printables.

If you want to learn more about shopping at Walgreens (you really can save A LOT there when you know what you're doing), check out IHeartWags.com. This website will allow you to see the weekly ads in advance, and match up coupons for you. It's nice to be able to see them in advance because the best deals at Walgreens sell out quickly. If there is something you really want, you need to go on Sunday or Monday.

For the rest of you (as well as my local friends), check out Money Saving Mom, Mom Saves Money, and Deal Seeking Mom. These blogs follow a very similar format to West Michigan Mommy, but are located in different areas of the country. Most deals posted on these blogs will be accurate for everyone, but you may have to do a bit more fact checking to make sure your area is included.

For the best baby deals, check out Baby Cheapskate and Baby Goodbuys. These two websites give a daily run down of the best deals on baby products, online and in stores. They also post the best diaper and formula deals at the beginning of each week. Also, BabySteals.com is a deal-a-day website. They post really cute baby products for 50% off or more. Another good deal-a-day website is GreenBabyBargains.com.

When I'm checking if there are coupons available for something I want to buy, I use the coupon database at HotCouponWorld.com. This website also has a great forum where you can find tips and deals for local and chain stores. RetailMeNot.com is a good place to find coupon codes for online purchases. NEVER buy something online without checking for a coupon code first!!!
