It seems that the baby flutters are now turning into much stronger kicks and punches. It's much more obvious to me now when the baby moves. This makes for a very happy and increasingly calm mommy! :)
Thanksgiving was great! And all the eating seemed to push my appetite into high gear! I ate two huge Thanksgiving dinners on Thanksgiving. Once at 12:00, and again around 6:00. When we arrived home that night (around 10:30), I was starving again! A big plate of nachos did the trick. YUM! Went to bed shortly after, only to wake up starving again at 5:00 am. Got up, ate a bowl of cereal, back to bed. This is how my days have been going ever since. If fact, right now as I'm writing this (12:30 am), I'm thinking that I better have a snack before bed. This baby HAS TO BE having a growth spurt! YIKES! Don't get me wrong though, I'm LOVING it! After the awful first trimester I had, it feels good to be able to EAT! :)
Our ultrasound is scheduled for December 9! Only 10 days away! We are hoping that baby cooperates so we can find out if we're having a son or a daughter. That's when the fun will begin! I'm so excited to start getting the nursery ready. Collecting cute little outfits to create a wardrobe for the baby. Washing all the teeny, tiny baby things. Organizing the house so that we're ready to bring the baby home. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! :)
Please pray for us concerning the ultrasound. Everything has been going perfectly with the pregnancy so far, and I'm really hoping that the ultrasound shows a well-developed baby. I still can't seem to completely grasp that things could really be going well this time. The doubt and worry has gotten a lot better for me, but it's still there to some extent. Just pray that we see a healthy baby on the 9th!
