Dylan's Snack

Last night Dylan decided to be stubborn and really test his boundaries at dinner time. This is nothing new. After fighting with him for an hour, sending him to time out, and still struggling, we told him he could be done but there would be NO bedtime snack. He agreed, saying he was full.

As I started gathering Aubree's bath stuff, I heard Dylan say, "Daddy I'm so STARVING! I need a snack!" You can probably imagine that I was happy to be on bath duty, and let Brandon deal with it. When Aubree's bath was done, I came into the kitchen to see Dylan at the table with a bowl in front of him. WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU GAVE IN?

Then I saw what was in Dylan's bowl. Dylan had a nice big bowl of peas and carrots, which of course he wouldn't touch. We didn't hear another word about a snack the rest of the night. :)
